Friday Extra Curricular Activities
Bentley Academy Innovation Schools has added hands-on activities that enriches our student’s learning experience, helping them grow and explore their areas of interest and build new skills.
We have partner up with community organizations to provide our students with a wide range of activities like:
YMCA Swimming Lessons: every school year a different cohort of students have the opportunity to receive swimming lessons grant-funded by the YMCA.
Gardening Club: In collaboration with SPUR, our students have the opportunity to plant and grow vegetables to later harvest them and donate them to the Salem Pantry.
Dance Club with Fly Kidz Dance Academy: a dance instructor visits our school to teach our students basic dance skills in the Hip Hop genre.
Cooking Club: our 4th and 5th Graders have the opportunity to learn basic cooking skills using simple ingredients that can be replicated at home, and create dishes that represent their cultural heritage.
Anime Club: is when a group of 4th and 5th grade students get together and discuss, study and appreciate the visuals of Japanese culture including anime and manga
