It is time for the PreschoolLottery for fall 2012 placements! Salem Public Schools invites residents with children between the ages of 3 and 4 to consider our preschool program at the Salem Early Childhood Center (SECC). Students must be three years of age by September 1, 2012 in order to enter the lottery. Financial assistance may be available for those with provenneed. The lottery process is open to all. If you have not completed the city census and are interested in apreschool placement, please contact our office at (978-740-1181).
Salem Public Schools will be offering developmental screenings to locate, identify, and refer for special education evaluation any 3, 4, or 5 year olds living in Salem who may have disabilities. For a screening appointment, call 978-740-1181 before March 23, 2012. The screening will take place at the Salem Early Childhood Center located in the Bentley School on Memorial Drive.
